I am a student at the University of Southern California studying Philosophy Politics Law and Religion, and a musician who plays with various bands and projects. Though I have only been teaching FLP Limmudim for a year and a half, IKAR has been my community for a good deal of time. Ever since our Hazzan Hillel Tigay’s wife Beth, my middle school English teacher, invited me to experience a Shabbat at IKAR, I have thrived in our vibrant community. IKAR’s commitment to a joyful, traditional, irreverent Jewish life is a constant source of inspiration, and it is truly a unique Jewish space where I can bring my whole self. It has been a pleasure teaching FLP Limmudim for the past year and half, and I look forward to continuing to share in rich Jewish learning and experience with our supportive community!
